Angelos Fragkistas is a lawyer qualified in Greece, with extensive experience advising clients on commercial and corporate matters. His practice spans both contentious and non-contentious work, enabling him to deliver strategic, commercially focused and solutions-oriented legal advice.

Biography
Angelos Fragkistas specialises in commercial law, with a particular focus on maritime and shipping, international trade and corporate transactions. His practice centres on the legal and commercial challenges faced by businesses operating in complex, highly regulated and international environments, where contractual certainty, commercial judgment and effective risk management are essential.
Having worked with leading commercial and shipping law firms, as well as in-house within the maritime industry, Angelos brings a valuable understanding of how businesses operate beyond the legal framework. He advises on shipping arrangements, international trade contracts, corporate transactions and complex commercial negotiations, approaching each engagement with an appreciation of the operational realities, financial considerations and strategic objectives that shape commercial decisions.
A distinctive aspect of Angelos’s experience is his involvement in public sector and regulatory affairs. Having served as Legal Counsel to the Hellenic Ministry of Finance, he has developed an understanding of the relationship between government, regulation and commercial activity. His practice extends to international sanctions, regulatory compliance, public procurement and major infrastructure projects, including the negotiation and management of complex contractual arrangements and claims.
Beyond his core commercial practice, Angelos advises on real estate transactions, property development and infrastructure projects, as well as commercial and contractual issues arising in the technology sector. His work encompasses business structuring, contractual risk allocation and cross-border transactions, particularly where projects involve multiple stakeholders, regulatory requirements and competing commercial interests.
Angelos combines legal precision with a commercially driven mindset, delivering clear, practical advice that reflects not only the legal position but also the broader business considerations at stake.
