Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Agapitos, Georgiou & Partners is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies on our website. This Cookie Policy explains how these technologies are used and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, smartphone or other device when you visit a website. They enable websites to function effectively, remember certain preferences and, where applicable, collect information about how visitors interact with their content.
Cookies may be placed directly by our website (first-party cookies) or by third-party service providers (third-party cookies). They may be temporary (session cookies) or remain on your device for a specified period (persistent cookies).
Our website also uses browser storage. Session storage supports navigation and language preferences during your browsing session. Local storage remembers your cookie choices between visits. These technologies are not cookies, but are covered by this policy.
2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
- Necessary: Storage supporting core functionality, navigation, your selected language and your consent choices remains active. Storage strictly necessary to provide a service you request does not require consent.
- Analytics: These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with our website and evaluate and improve its performance. Analytics is optional and requires your prior consent. Google Analytics is not currently active; our consent controls are prepared for its future installation.
- External content: These technologies enable features supplied by other providers, such as Google Maps. Embedded maps load only after you consent to external content.
We do not use advertising cookies. Optional categories are off by default. Declining them does not prevent access to the principal content of our website, although embedded maps will remain unavailable.
3. Storage Used on Our Website
The website uses the following first-party browser storage:
- agp-cookie-consent-v1 (local storage): Records your Analytics and External content choices, the consent version and the time of your choice. The website honours this choice for 180 days, after which it asks again. The entry may remain in browser storage until replaced or cleared.
- agp-content-back-v1 (session storage): Stores a limited navigation history within the website to support Back links.
- agp-selected-language-v2 (session storage): Remembers your selected language during the browsing session.
- agp-sector-return (session storage): Supports returning to the relevant sector overview after following a link.
Session storage normally lasts for the browser tab’s session and is cleared when that session ends; browser session-restoration settings may affect this behaviour. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings.
Cookie Preferences allows you to control optional categories. It is not a complete list of individual cookies. Google Maps may use third-party cookies and similar technologies when enabled; these are controlled by Google. We will update this policy with the applicable Analytics configuration and cookie details when Google Analytics is installed.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Maps is provided by Google. When you enable external content, the embedded map connects to Google, which may receive information such as your IP address and browser information and use its own cookies or similar technologies. Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and information about cookies.
Before consent, our website does not load the embedded map. Ordinary links to external websites are separate from embedded content; following an external link takes you to that provider’s website and its privacy practices.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can accept all optional categories, reject optional categories or customise your choices through the banner displayed when you first visit our website. Opening Manage cookies does not itself give consent.
You may review or change your choices at any time by selecting Cookie preferences at the bottom left of our website. Necessary storage remains active; Analytics and External content can be selected separately. Your choices apply across the website’s Greek and English versions on the same browser and website origin.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops further use of the relevant optional features on our website, but does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. It does not undo information already sent to a provider or automatically delete cookies stored by third-party domains.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and browser storage through their settings. Clearing the stored consent choice will cause the banner to appear again. Blocking necessary storage may affect navigation or the ability to remember your preferences.
6. Personal Data and Privacy
Where information collected through cookies or similar technologies constitutes personal data, its processing is subject to applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
For further information about how we process personal data and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the technologies used on our website, our practices or applicable legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page together with the date of the latest revision.
