Private Clients
It is a privilege to be trusted with the matters that affect our clients personally.
Legal issues may often concern a home, a family, an inheritance, a career, an investment or a dispute that has become part of everyday life. These matters are often deeply personal, and the right legal advice requires more than technical expertise. It requires time, discretion, understanding and a relationship built on trust.
We provide individuals with a personal and tailored service, taking the time to understand not only the immediate legal issue but also the circumstances surrounding it. No two clients, families or situations are the same, and our advice reflects that. We aim to be accessible when our clients need us, clear about their options and practical in helping them decide how best to move forward.
For many of our private clients, our relationship extends over time and across different aspects of their lives. We value that continuity. It allows us to understand what matters to them and to provide advice with the benefit of a relationship that goes beyond a single instruction.
We advise individuals at important moments in their personal lives. Our family practice provides sensitive and pragmatic advice on relationships, separation and the financial and personal issues that may follow. We understand that family matters require particular care and discretion and that the best legal outcome cannot always be considered separately from its wider effect on the people involved.
We help clients plan for the future through probate and estate planning, including the organisation and succession of personal and family assets, wills and inheritance matters and the administration of estates. Our role is not simply to prepare documents, but to understand what a client wants to achieve and help put arrangements in place that provide clarity and security for them and those close to them.
A home or property investment is often one of the most significant transactions an individual will make. We advise private clients on the acquisition, ownership, management and disposal of real estate, whether purchasing a home, investing in property, dealing with a lease or addressing an issue that arises during ownership.
Our employment practice also acts for individuals in matters concerning their professional lives. We advise on employment agreements, changes in employment, remuneration and benefits, termination, workplace disputes and other issues affecting the relationship between an individual and their employer. Where professional reputation or future career prospects are involved, we recognise that the implications can extend considerably beyond the immediate legal question.
We represent private clients in disputes of many kinds. These may arise from personal or commercial relationships, property, contracts, inheritance, employment or other circumstances. Litigation can be demanding for an individual in a way that is different from litigation for a business. We therefore make a point of explaining the process clearly, remaining available as matters develop and ensuring that our clients understand both their legal position and the practical choices available to them.
Legal questions arise in everyday life, sometimes unexpectedly, and our clients regularly turn to us for guidance on matters that do not fit neatly within a single category. Where we can assist, we do. Where a matter requires expertise outside our own areas of practice, we can draw upon a trusted network of colleagues and other professionals in Greece and internationally and help our client find the right person to assist.
That is an important part of what serving private clients means to us. We want our clients to feel that they can contact us when they need advice, including when they are not sure what kind of advice they need or whom they should speak to. They do not need to identify the relevant area of law before getting in touch. They can start with us.
The relationship between a lawyer and a private client is built over time. Circumstances change, families develop, careers progress, assets are acquired and new challenges arise. Our aim is to be there through those changes: to listen, to advise, to protect our clients’ interests and, where necessary, to bring together the right people to help.
For us, acting for private clients is not simply another area of our practice. It is a relationship of trust, and one that we value.
